I want to invite you to join us for our Thursday Adapted Physical Education Zoom meetings. We’re making great progress, but we need to keep the energy going. There’s also a growing need for leaders who are actively working in districts to collaborate more closely, ensuring we’re all aligned in our advocacy efforts. Special Education directors across the state are talking about this and our work together as one united voice can achieve so much more.

There are several areas where your input would be incredibly valuable—whether it’s in developing a state guidebook, recommending eligibility criteria, supporting student services, defining job roles and caseloads, or other related initiatives.

In the initial meetings, we’ll be conducting an intake and building both short- and long-term plans. This is also a collaborative space where we can all share ideas and work together, so we’re not operating in silos across the state.
